Energizer-
GLOs are very involved with serving the community through various service projects and philanthropies. So the next time your chapter goes out of its way to help an agency in the community or a national non-profit organization, ask the beneficiary to send a thank you note to your school president or chancellor so that the administrators really understand what good work you are doing.
Personally, I think, along the lines of what Betarulz said, philanthropy is the way to go. SO often it is overlooked too, but with acknowledgement and attention, sometimes that is the best way to be positively recognized.
It never even occurred to me to do that. Only after meeting with an ADMINISTRATOR from a local University did I realize that would be a great idea.
