EI is Epsilon Iota, which can perhaps be best described as a local, unrecognized, and expressly disapproved fraternity with members at American University. They have been on the local news and national website for their shenanigans.

I was in grad school for a year at American before I dropped out. I remember being like why the hell are these kids wearing EI shirts? Do they like
the song that much? Then I found out they were a former chapter of Alpha Tau Omega. They weren't really respected by the students I knew.
