Auburn University Expansion?
Collegians like myself have been hearing for years that Alpha Phi is coming soon to campus, and recently I have been hearing that as many as four additional sororities are colonizing here! I know our pledge classes are huge, so could there be any truth to this rumor?

I'd start by asking the Panhellenic representative from your chapter; if she doesn't know, just ask the Panhellenic advisor or someone in the Department of Greek Life (Student Life, Greek Affairs, whatever it's called there).

Highly doubtful 4 sororities are coming, but there could be 4 who have been invited to present. You could always call your Greek advisor with questions.
I haven't heard anything about Auburn expanding, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Hearing rumors that a specific sorority is coming (like Alpha Phi) would be false. That is not how NPC expansion works.

I wouldn't say pledge classes of 60(ish) are huge. My campus only has 7 houses and our pledge classes are around 50. But, just my opinion.

With their housing situation, I could see them wanting to hold down the pledge classes to 50'ish (big but not so big you can't find a room for meetings). And I'll chime in with it wouldn't surprise me. But if Auburn were currently open for expansion I would think people would be shouting it from the mountaintops, not sharing it by rumor.
This goes back to my opinion that the most underrated exec (or exec-adjacent) position in your chapter is panhellenic delegate. Panhel knows!

Auburn is not open for expansion. It is unlikely they will open soon.
