After hours upon hours of reading through other girl's stories about recruitment, I have decided that I am going to do my best to keep you up to speed on my own formal recruitment endeavors.
Recruitment begins in about 2 1/2 weeks. I move up to my new place of residence on August 13th and the process starts on the 14th.
I am an incoming freshman to this whole experience. Both older sisters have either graduated from this same university or they are in the process, one is a senior this year. Neither of my sisters went the sorority route, just never really had the interest. Now me on the other hand, well that is a different story. When my oldest sister was still in college, I remember visiting her. We would always drive past sorority row and I couldn't help but have this connection to them. I always told my mom, I am going to be in a sorority! Well now that time has come and the experience of a lifetime will be here in a few short weeks. I can't believe how time flies.
I am the baby of the family, the last one to go off to college. My mom continues telling friends how even though she has done this twice before, she has no idea what to expect this last time around. LOL
The university has a total of 16 sororities that we will be getting to know over the course of that week. I see that many people have chosen to use code names for the houses just to keep things vague. I am a Grey's Anatomy fanatic so I am going to go with the lovely character list as my code names:
