How Competitive is Recruitment at MTSU?

Hello,

As you can see from my username I am an MTSU soon to be rushee. I have read many threads (though my account is new, I have been a frequent lurker) and I know what the search button is. I have done as much searching as I can, but as of right now, I still don't have my answer.

How competitive is recruitment? I know at other southern schools it is horribly competitive and very hard on the "average" girls (good but not great GPA, little or no extra curricular activities, etc).

I was wondering if MTSU was the same? Also, does anyone know the numbers for how many normally go through and how high quota has been in the past few years?

you can probably get the statistical information from the MTSU panhellenic office. Panhellenic offices sometimes have that info. posted on their websites, but you might have to dig to find it.

i don't know how competitive rush is at MTSU. do you know any women who go there that you could ask? even if the women you know are not in sororities, they may be able to answer your question.

i know that you are probably just curious, but try not to get too caught up in all that information. arrange for recommendations to all the sororities at MTSU, dress appropriately during recruitment, put your best foot forward, and roll with the punches.

The only people I know that went to MTSU or are going currently are too old to be helpful (as in they graduated and moved out of TN 20+ years ago, so they have no idea) or do not care at all about sorority life..

I will contact the Greek Office, however, to see if they could possibly provide this information.
