(Kind of) Randomly Emailing a House

So I went through formal recruitment in the fall and ended up withdrawing...now I'm on my university's informal list and I'm hoping to join a house sometime this year!

Just wondering...I just saw a house that I LOVED during formal's facebook page called "xxx recruitment page campaign" with contact info like "xxx@recruitment.xxx.com" so it seems like they are pretty open to doing recruitment this year.

Would it be totally creepy to email them w/something like "Hi I'm on the informal recruitment list and very interested in informaling at your house if you guys are doing it this quarter!" ?

I don't want to be desperate or anything I seriously LOVED that house though...what would be appropriate?
