Frat, I need your help...

I am a Program Coordinator for a Science Enrichment program at a middle school, and I have given the teens in the prog the task of researching African American Inventors and Inventions. Little did I know that there is little to no info on blacks who contributed in science in this way b/c we were oftentimes denied the opportunity to get our inventions patented, sooooo guess who stole our ideas and got credit for them

If any of you know of good, resourceful journals, websites, or books we can use PLEASE LET ME KNOW...post here or e mail me ChaoticRed@greekchat.com......

Not a frat but, a lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha. There really is plenty of information these days concerning black inventors. Here is a good site with historic info on some well known and some less popular Black inventors. A good search engine is www.google.com
