Frat, I need your help...

I am a Program Coordinator for a Science Enrichment program at a middle school, and I have given the teens in the prog the task of researching African American Inventors and Inventions. Little did I know that there is little to no info on blacks who contributed in science in this way b/c we were oftentimes denied the opportunity to get our inventions patented, sooooo guess who stole our ideas and got credit for them:confused:

Not a frat but, a lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha. There really is plenty of information these days concerning black inventors. Here is a good site with historic info on some well known and some less popular Black inventors. A good search engine is www.google.com
