I would be confused...

I just thought of something...if there ever was a campus that had a lot of fraternities, it would be confusing for freshment i bet. Because, for instance, there is a Delta Sigma Phi, and a Phi Sigma Delta. A Sigma Phi Epsilon and a Phi Sigma Episolon...plus a few that start with Pi Kappa......I'm glad i don't go there...i wouldn't have known where the parties were.

We thought it was funny on our campus to have both Kappa Sigma and Sigma Kappa. Always made the freshman a little confused

There's also Alpha Epsilon Phi and Alpha Epsilon Pi. And the nicknames are AEPhi and AEPi. That's also pretty confusing!

ZTAngel, tell me about it. AEPi had been on my campus for some years when we brought AEPhi on... some folks just saw an A, an E, and a weird greek letter, and figured we were little sisters of AEPi, or dating AEPi's, or whatever. Occasionally we also got confused with Alpha Phi, since Alpha Phi had been on my campus longer than any other sorority.

We had Kappa Sigma, Sigma Kappa, Phi Sigma Kappa, and Phi Kappa Sigma. The poor freshmen were so confused... you'd ask a freshwoman which sororities she was rushing, and she'd say, for instance, "ummm... Alpha Phi and Kappa Sigma?"

It could be worse! In the 50s Sigma Kappa absorbed (sp?) Pi Kappa Sigma.
