Blackberry prices

I know I may be dense but help me out

Let's say you buy a BB for $199 or whatever.

Then you have to pay about $60+ a month to be able to talk on the phone?

Plus $60+ a month for the Internet portion?

I just want to be able to get/make a few phone calls a month and check my email and FB, plus a little random surfing.

Am I thinking the monthly prices are over $120?
