Grand Jury Assembled
I just looked on the CNN website and saw that the new independent counsel, Robert Ray, has leaked a story to the press noting that a grand jury has been assembled to investigate whether or not President Clinton should be indicted after he leaves office. Today at the Democratic National Convention, Al Gore will make an acceptance speech. The independent counsel's office (a very Republican unit--a la Ken Starr) had this grand jury gathered for a month, but they waited until today to release it. Don't you think that's rather interesting?
