Write a letter to the Gov. of New York
David A. Patterson! We are asking that he pass legislation to prevent Police Officers from getting away with using excessive force!
On November, 25, 2006 Sean Bell (an unarmed man) was gunned down after his bachelor party in front of a night club, in Queens N.Y. hours before he was supposed to be married. The N.Y.P.D. detectives also shot and injured two of his friends. (Trent Benefield and Joseph Guzman). TWO WEEKS AGO, THE POLICE DETECTIVES WERE CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES! Ranging from excessive force to second degree murder!
WE WANT TO LET THE GOVERNOR, THE N.Y.P.D. AND THEIR SUPPORTERS KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE NOT DISPOSABLE!!!!
