AirTran to Charge $10 for 2nd Bag
ORLANDO, Fla. (April 11) - AirTran Airways said Friday it will implement a $10 charge for passengers checking a second bag due to escalating fuel costs.

The fee, which will start on May 15, does not apply to business class passengers or passengers with Elite status, the carrier said.

Any additional bags checked will cost $50 per bag.
