Just finished watching the 60 Minutes show
"Detention In America"...
We are in dire straits, because how we treat our prisoners in a "civilized" society, is a reflection of us as a civilization.
Interestingly,
Department of Immigration Health Services (DIHS) is a part of Hoodland Psychiatry--whoops I mean Homeland Security... That is part of the problem... Homeland Security is not a place fore clinical people and the money is not there to pay them... Moreover, all the EXCELLENT personnel are serving in Iraq right now...
We are fighting health disparities in this country. A health system that has failed its citizens and the clinical professionals. We are all taxed. It is becoming that we just don't get sick or you will die!
I posted this because I am ranting at how poor our health system has become. I just am about to give up on US...
