WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. Capitol Police arrested a man carrying a shotgun outside the Capitol building Friday.
The suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Michael Gorbey from the west Virginia area, who reportedly has a criminal history and is known to Secret Service.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider says no one was injured in the incident.
An officer first spotted Gorber near Union Station -- about two blocks from the Capitol.
A truck is being searched on North Capitol Street near D Street after weapons and wires were seen inside. A perimeter has been established around the truck, including an adjacent office building.

2nd and D Street to pull traffic westbound, West on D Street, officers at 1st Street and D Street, NW, 2nd Street and D Street, NW, New Jersey and E Street, North Capitol Street and H Street, North Capitol and Massachusetts Avenue.
