We have our Homecoming suite every year.
We have our yearly ball.
We also have our pledge period traditions that haven't changed. Can't say what those are though. If you know what I mean.

we have a "godfather" or a "godmother" (for females) for each pledge (a brother selects a pledge to guide throughout the pledgeship until activation..sort of like a big bro-little bro set-up, though all brothers in the chapter take an active part in the training of the pledges)..
pledges are also given nicknames that they use during the pledgeship..the "godparent" selects the nickname. (Usually, a brother would pass down his nickname to the pledge.) Being a medical school, nicknames are medical terms.
Each pledge class also selects their own pledge class name. Medical terms are required.

Pledge nicknames given at the retreat
Family trees
There's a few more, but I can't remember them at the moment. I'm a bit fuzzy.

Being an elder chapter (founded in 1953), we have long-standing traditions, such as...
-B L T Parties (Black tie, Lingerie, or Toga attire)
-Heaven and Hell mixers
-Guys Nite/Girls Nite
-Big bro/Lil bro retreats
-Brothers Only retreats
-Family trees (colors on our letter sweaters denote which family we belong to)
-Informal families (Buddhas, Buddhasses, Seahorses, and Buffaloes just to name a few)
-We hold a Turtle installation ceremony immediately after initiation
-Pactolus (PM me about this one ya'll): The APO Witch Project
-Adventure Week (from pledgehood to brotherhood)
-Pledge class gives gift to chapter at end of pledgehood
-Semi-formal each semester
-Whitewater rafting in West Virginia
.......for more info, just PM me

Traditions in my chapter.
* Big-Little program (we now have a ceremony for this, based on one given in the T&T many decades back, with gifts from the big to the little)
* NIBs get first stitch letter shirt after initiation
* family trees
* pledges pick color scheme for thier first letter shirt
* chapter awards- pledge of semester, brother of year, cardinal principle awards
* chapter mascot (who is a Brother with card and everything)
* pledge classes designated by greek letter, we recognize fall pledge class namesake and try to get the chapter to designate a spring pledge class namesake.
* annual awards banquet at end of spring semester

Our chapter has the following traditions:
-Family Trees/Names
-Big/Little assignments
-Semester retreat (we attempt camping)
-Yearly awards ceremony (held Spring Semester)
-Jersey/Paddle exchange at Inductions/Awards (depending on semester)
-Big/Little Twin Party (trying to resurface)
-Chapter mascot - Harvey the Hoosebag...(long story)
We're working on traditions such as black and white party, turning the awards ceremony into a banquet, and working at least once a semester with our little brother chapter, Mu Omega.
On a side note - Regionals Conference December 2007 at USF Tampa! Woo!

OMG, I remember Heaven & Hell! Easy to do with the four brothers who lived just off campus when I was a nibble. And a TURTLE ceremony?!? Outstanding! I shared that experience with Alpha Gamma Mu.
Our pledge classes went by letter, and we did have the occasional theme running through nicknames (Kermit's little was Animal, whose little was Fozzy...). My branch of the family tree was the only one that was a straight line, but we can all tie knots in cherry stems.
