What GLO is the most known?
Which Org do you guys think is the most known across the United States or even the world? My vote would have to go to the BGLO Omega Psi Phi, almost everyone has heard of Que-dogs before. What about everybody else?

Hands down, the most known GLO (note it makes no distinction as to specific type) is Phi Beta Kappa.

My vote would go to Sigma Chi, due to the "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" catchphrase. Other orgs might be the fictitious Tri-Lambdas from the "Revenge of the Nerds" movies or of course the "Delta House" from the movie Animal House (I don't think the average person would remember their full name of Delta Tau Chi, though).
Delta Delta Delta is probably pretty well known also, if only for that unfortunate SNL skit.
In short, if a GLO made it onto TV, people will have heard of it.
eta: Rain Man, good call with the Phi Beta Kappa too. I didn't think of that!!

Definitely Phi Beta Kappa!
In literature, "Kappa" is so often used, but not always for KKG, so it's a close second, IMHO.

Most known??
To my understanding, Phi Beta Kappa is the most known. But to my own belief, ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY INCORPORATED, is the most celebrated, though I have friends who are TKEs, SAEs, and Sig Chi's. Either way, its all good in the fraternalhood.

I agree. I knew about Sigma Chi long before I knew about GLOs. I think my first encounter with Sigma Chi must have been when I was 11 years old and reading Lou Kassim's Middle School Blues. The main character's older sister was a Sweetheart of Sigma Chi.

I'll go with the Q-Dogs, because so many professional athletes have the brand on their upper arms. People see it every Saturday, Sunday.

I remember the "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" on Who's The Boss!
I think a lot of times people come across them, but have no idea what the letters or symbols mean.

I think this is a question that can not be answered. Of course I am going to say Beta Theta Pi because we are one of the largest fraternities nationally and world wide. Then I would also say Sigma Chi because they are huge nationally and almost all of their chapters are composed of gentlemen and good people who are respected by their peers at their respected campuses. I would then say any of the next largest chapters nationally are the most recognized. Beta Theta Pi has the most fortune 500 CEO's. TKE has the most members. The above fraternities you have mentioned are unheard of to me which means almost the same to the rest of the Greek community at the University of Texas.
All opinions here are biased to geographical location.

Alpha Phi Omega is very well known to those who were/are Boy Scouts, and there are quite a few of those.
Interestingly enough, the GLOs I really knew of before college were SDT, ZBT, Sammy, and Tau Delta Phi (my dad's fraternity).

I had never heard of Beta Theta Pi before Greekchat, so I can't agree.
If you mean well-known outside the Greek system, I'd say Delta Delta Delta. Not real sure fraternity wise because I'd never heard of any besides Tri-lambda before joining.

Never heard of Omega Psi Phi before Greekchat. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I think APHIA is the most well known of the male BGLOs.

For sororities, I'd say Delta Delta Delta or Kappa Kappa Gamma.
