Idlewild Release Date: 8.25.06
I just saw the trailer for OutKast's Idlewood. It looks really interesting.

I've been seeing commercials for it too. It does seem interesting. Outkast is a pretty creative group (esp. Andre) so I'm sure their creativity will shine through in this movie. I think it's called Idlewild though. I plan to see it because I'm so tired of the same movies with the same story lines. I really like their new song too, Like a Marching Band? (I think is the title) It reminds me of my undergrad college days and our marching band. There's nothing like those HBCU marching bands.

I saw the previews for this on Sunday night. I'd like to check it out.

I kinda want to see it too but after seeing that disaster of a movie Miami Vice I’m scared to go back to the movies!

I just got back from a screening. It was very eccentric, in typical OutKast fashion. Bryan Barber's cinematography reminded you of his videos. It was something different for a feature film.
I do not know what your expectations are, but you will probably not expect what goes on.
Let's just say, I don't think I'd pay $8 to see it. Kudos to the duo for attempting to make a film.

That's why it's named "Morris Brown".
I'm being lazy on buying the CD, but I'm looking forward to listening to some more innovation. I can't wait to see them on screen.
If any child from Tri-Cities HS in East Point, GA ever talks about what s/he can't do, they need to look no further than Andre and Big Boi everytime doubt enters their mind. It's still impressive and amazing to see what ingenuity and passion from two young men produced. Atlanta is so proud during Idleweek.

my sentiments exactly. to me they are the epitome of southern rap, instead of this "lean wit it, rock wit it", crunk, whatever craze.

^^^ I *heart* you!
You can only lean and rock and snap so much before it devolves into shrugs of boredom.

You can always do the Chicken Noodle Soup and then drop it like it's hot, bankhead bounce and set if off with a little laffy taffy.
Can someone please tell me what I just wrote? Is that a menu?
