Nooo. She was only 58.
Kindred was my first exposure to science fiction written by a person of color. May she rest in peace.

Wow that she was only 58.

I purchased Kindred a few years ago and never got around to read it. I'll have to check it out over spring break.

Man, that's awful. I had to study her for an extracurricular thing. I thought she was kind of cool, even though I'm not the Sci-fi type, I thought it's so great to see women of color branching out.
