Just read that she passed away. :(

This is sad news indeed. She was a great author.

My warmest wishes go out to her family in this time of mourning.

Nooo. :( She was only 58.
Kindred was my first exposure to science fiction written by a person of color. May she rest in peace.

OMIGOSH! I love her work. :(

Wow that she was only 58. :(

I purchased Kindred a few years ago and never got around to read it. I'll have to check it out over spring break.

She was a wonderful writer, and I know she'll be missed.

Wow:( ai truly enjoyed reading Kindred and accept every moment ai can to invite others to read this most exciting treasure...may she rest in peace...

Man, that's awful. I had to study her for an extracurricular thing. I thought she was kind of cool, even though I'm not the Sci-fi type, I thought it's so great to see women of color branching out.

Why "ai" instead of I?

arizona13 08-06-2007 02:28 AM

ai am not sure...it is some little quirky idiosincrasy that deal with the makings of me...ai...I will do better, mwuah.
