Unhappy Two more WVa Mine Accidents

Two more mine accidents happened today in West Virginia:

The first one was at a strip mine. A man was driving some sort of machinery, and it hit a gas line and exploded. This was at the Black Castle mine in Boone County.

The second accident occured at the Number 18 Tunnel mine, in Kanawha county, when a support popped loose in the mine.

Gov. Joe Manchin is seeking to shut down all WV mines until they can all be inspected.

16 deaths in one month. We haven't lost this many miners in one year in more than a decade, let alone on month.

It's about time! One accident is one too many; does that make four? Too scary!!
