Attn wrestling fans: RIP Eddie Guerrero
'WWE Smackdown!' Star Guerrero Dies
MINNEAPOLIS - Eduardo Gory Guerrero, a World Wrestling Entertainment superstar was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE Supershow. He was 38.
When he didn't respond to a wake-up call, hotel security at Minneapolis Marriott City Center and Guerrero's nephew and fellow WWE wrestler, Chavo Guerrero, forced their way into the room, police said.
There were no apparent signs of foul play or suicide, police said. An autopsy was planned at the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
He was a featured star on the UPN series "WWE Smackdown!" and son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero.

This is just sad. I last saw him at Wrestlemania. Mike & I had great floor seats so he drove up in his car next to us. I'll find the pics to post b/c we were super close & he smiled at us...or at least in our general direction.

Raw is about to make my cry. Seeing all the other wrestlers break down in tears is getting to me.

I actually did cry a little. And I'm not one to show emotion, I'm pretty stoic most of the time. But seeing guys like Big Show, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit crying (and Big Show was still crying when he came out to wrestle!) was really unsettling.
BTW, you watch RAW? Can you cook, too?

I recorded it b/c I wouldn't be home in time to watch it but I still haven't watched it b/c I'm afraid I'd get too emotional. I'm a big weenie when it comes to stuff like that. I cried during the Owen Hart tribute & I wasn't even a fan of his but I'm a HUGE Latino Heat fan. I even got to meet him at this years Wrestlemania. He was just so awesome. I got pics & everything. I'll have to find them & post them b/c the guy was great.

You see, I remember watching him when I used to watch mexican wrestling AAA and he was three man tag partners with Love Machine and Hijo Del Santos. This was like in 94, and I thought "he'd make a good star in the states..."
Yeah, I watched A LOT of wrestling, and I even said in 98 that I'd never stop watching. I stopped after WWE bought WCW, and I never knew Eddy became champ at one point.
May he rest in peace.....he was one of a kind in the ring.

My mom used to watch his dad so I grew up with wrestling. Man I can't believe he's gone. He was always one of the best.

It was getting to me too. I didn't find out until Friday, and they were still crying. This is just so sad.
