Eagle Scout goes bad, "bombs" GA Tech
Eagle Scout Theodore Hollot, a GA Tech freshman from PA, is in the Atlanta jail after he admitted to setting explosive water bottles (possibly containing dry ice and water) in a Tech courtyard. One exploded, giving a lawn guy ringing ears, when picked up. He's charged with felony possession of a destructive device and more.
Other students described the long-haired freshman as "Clever and friendly ... goofy and funny."
It is not known if he had earned the merit badge for "fun things that explode".
(Please accept my premature apology for the headline, which grabbed your attention, and is intended to annoy a certain group of one or two GCers.)
