Eagle Scout goes bad, "bombs" GA Tech

Eagle Scout Theodore Hollot, a GA Tech freshman from PA, is in the Atlanta jail after he admitted to setting explosive water bottles (possibly containing dry ice and water) in a Tech courtyard. One exploded, giving a lawn guy ringing ears, when picked up. He's charged with felony possession of a destructive device and more.

Other students described the long-haired freshman as "Clever and friendly ... goofy and funny."

It is not known if he had earned the merit badge for "fun things that explode".

It was a success.

I thought it might actually have been one of the more accurate titles that Hoosier has made.

Yeah, it was an exaggeration, but at least it didn't say "Black Eagle Scout".

I'm gonna' go out on a limb here and guess it's going to annoy more than one or two GCers.

An anti-American Eagle Scout... how diabolical! :D

I go to Tech, and all my friends were calling me to make sure I was ok. I didn't even know it happened, I was on the other side of campus.
