NFL 2006

It's the first week of the regular season and I'm surprised we don't have a thread about it already!

As a Bears fan, I'm very happy with what happened today. 26-0!

"High Powered" Dallas looked absolutely pathetic today.

My team (Giants) lost last night, and my starting fantasy quarterback for one of my leagues (Trent Green) got absolutely wrecked yesterday. Not a good start to the season.

Bears good.
Broncos bad.

That is all.

What a tight, hard-fought, ugly game between the Bears-Vikings today. However, I am happy that my Bears won!

The Giants are my team too! Woohoo. Anyways...I always want to see my giants win, but lately they've had one heck of a schedule. Last week it was the eagles this week the seahawks...seriously they need to play a team they can beat---how about the cowboys

(As a matter of fact, the giants are playing right now and they are down 21-0).

I thought they should have beaten the colts, but stupid ol Feely couldn't kick a freaking field goal to save his life, and he isn't getting much better.

All i gotta say is Thank God for Plaxico Burress and Brandon Jacobs. Along with my hunny-bunny Tiki Barber (lol) and of course Eli Manning, these boys can handle their own. Although I'm not watching the game (i have no tv in my dorm and the only tv on is showing another game) I seriously hope Burress is playing. I don't think the Giants can handle going one game without him, especially against the Seahawks.

I guess we'll end up seeing what happens tonight.

(The seahawks just made another touchdown...28-0).

Oh and I must say that Dallas is a let down. My dad and I are getting so much slack from family members and friends (all of whom are Cowboy fans) about how "big and bad" Dallas is now that they got all these great players and now they have T.O. and they are going to be unstoppable. I'm sorry, but in IMHO, I think Dallas is playing worse than they did last season.

Thankfully the Redskins finally won a game. The Falcons look good too, although my support for them is only half hearted considering how ghetto the team has become.

Yeah...a little too late. I think if they had started playing like that back in maybe the 3rd quarter, then the game might have gone into OT.

The Giants can't rely on their ability to come back at the last few minutes of the game. I want my Giants to go to the Superbowl, and you can't play like they were playing and go to the Superbowl.
