Thumbs down Ugh! I'd just like to crawl under a rock and...

...come out when all this Harry Potter madness dies down!
Am I the only one who has no interest in these books/movies?

I've never read them or seen the movies. I don't get it, either. My mom works at the local B&N, and it's insane how many people dress up and wait for hours to get the books. I'm glad the books are getting kids to read, but I guess they're not for me.

I know what you mean. Harry Potter reminds to much of the HBO movie "The Worst Witch" from way back in the late 80s. I mean, I'm sorry, but no one can beat Tim Curry.

I've seen a few of the movies but only because my niece forced us too. Didn't like them. Don't understand why adults are obsessed.

Let me know which rock, and I'll crawl under next to you. Should I bring some sweet tea or something?

I have not seen any of the movies nor have I read any of the books. I don't really care to either.

Tea would be nice; I'll bring some muffins.

I am SO SICK of all this. Hubby bought it yesterday and has been USELESS b/c his nose is stuck in the book.

So I swiped it, read the last chapter, and told him what happened .

No disrespect, Nikki, but if you'd done that to me we wouldn't be married anymore.

*plans on avoiding this thread until she has finished the book, as she is sure Nikki would like to share the last chapter with her as well*

Hey, someone was posting on LJ w/ an icon that gave away the spoiler. I think that's MUCH colder than what I did (much funnier, too).

And I'm not going to share w/ anyone else for fear of death. HP fans are like little Deadheads on crack. I'm scared of them

And HC and Leslie-I'm in for the rock. I'll bring the chips!

Seriously, I've never read any of it and I am baffled as to how adults could find it entertaining.

I'm sick of the people who need to update their LJs to tell us that they're reading the book, or to bitch about the spoilers. You know what? I DON'T CARE!!!!!

Someone on my flist found that icon, stole it, and then posted all over the place with it. I think she made it her default icon too.

I kinda love her.

ROFLMAO!!!!

I hate all this nonsense. Witches and spells and whatnot.

Imagine how much nicer the world would be if people acted like this when a new Bible came out.

I'm jus' sayin'
