Sushi served in Ontario must be frozen then defrosted first

Not everyone is amused.

Oh gross.

One thing I can't stand is not-fresh fish. I can't imagine eating raw fish if it has to be frozen and defrosted.

Thumbs down

I really hope that regulation doesn't come to BC, but once Ontario does something, the rest of the country seems to follow suit.

That is pretty messed up. They're doing it because of the possibility of some sort of disease?

So essentially it's for no reason.

Swell.

This is really weird because I just saw a news article last month talking about how to tell the different between defrosted and fresh....

oh... I get it I found this article more informative: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...20/?hub=Canada

It's about parasite that's never been an issue. "better safe than sorry". blah.

well, i don't eat sushi anyhow.
