Sushi served in Ontario must be frozen then defrosted first

Yea, cuz most of us go to Ontario for our sushi needs?

Oh gross.
One thing I can't stand is not-fresh fish. I can't imagine eating raw fish if it has to be frozen and defrosted. |
I really hope that regulation doesn't come to BC, but once Ontario does something, the rest of the country seems to follow suit.
|
That is pretty messed up. They're doing it because of the possibility of some sort of disease?
So essentially it's for no reason. Swell. |

This is really weird because I just saw a news article last month talking about how to tell the different between defrosted and fresh....
oh... I get it I found this article more informative: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...20/?hub=Canada It's about parasite that's never been an issue. "better safe than sorry". blah. well, i don't eat sushi anyhow. |
Update...
|
There's no way I could eat Sushi that wasn't fresh.
