I got a cable modem over the weekend, and so far it is giving me service that is comparable to my DSL service.
However, I have for some reason not been able to surf the internet while downloading music. (Of COURSE I only download music from artists who explicitly state that their work may be freely distributed!
)
Anyway, I am wondering why this is so? I never had this problem with DSL.
Perhaps it is a side effect of the security manager software that came with the cable modem service?
