Random school loan question

Does anyone know if a person who recently claimed bankruptcy (and was late on prior school loans) will be eligible for school loans again for graduate study? I don't think they are but what are other options for someone to get an education if they aren't eligible for Stafford loans? The only option I can think of is if they find someone to take out a private loan under their name but this is difficult too.
