Random school loan question
Does anyone know if a person who recently claimed bankruptcy (and was late on prior school loans) will be eligible for school loans again for graduate study? I don't think they are but what are other options for someone to get an education if they aren't eligible for Stafford loans? The only option I can think of is if they find someone to take out a private loan under their name but this is difficult too.

U.S. DoE If the person is ineligible to receive federal student aid they need to contact the school they wish to attend to find out what the school could/would give them as an aid award. From there they could go to a private lender in which they could take out an alternative school loan. One of the hottest places for that right now is Citibank |
