fake sororities?

Guys, I dunno if this has been discussed...I looked, couldn't find a thread...

But why do so many of you have fake sorority letters in your sigs? Like Gamma Gamma, Sigma Gamma, and I've seen others too. And many of you took out your REAL sorority letters. Is this some joke I missed out on or something? LOL
