Does anyone out there listen to Star, Bucwild and Miss Jones in the morning on Hot97? Well I'm interested in knowing who heard yesterday's show and what you think about it. Personally, I'm outraged. For anyone who doesn't know what went down, here's a brief overview. Well, they were talking about the Aaliyah tragedy and Star goes and plays this audio of people screaming and a plane crashing. I tell you, I was absolutely stunned. He actually thought it was amusing. Miss Jones got really pissed and went off on him. And if that wasn't enough, he's like "what? you're mad because I played this" and proceeds to play the audio again. Then Miss Jones says something else to him and he's like "well they told then they had too much luggage on the plane"

Miss Jones then leaves the station(and rightfully so). Then Star is like "I'm gonna take this hating thing to the limit(or something to that effect)"
Now, anyone who lives in the Tri-state area knows that Star proclaims himself to be the king of all haters, and I'll be the first to admit that I find him amusing at times, but this time he has gone too far. There was nothing remotely amusing about what he did. I vowed yesterday that I would never listen to the morning show again until they take him off, or until the family and fans get a public apology.
Later in the day, I was listening to the 4pm show(Angie Martinez) and Q-Tip calls in with this letter he wrote to Hot97. He reads it on the air, and by the time he is finished, he's in tears, Angie's in tears and so am I. He states that he heard about what Star did on the morning show and also refuses to listen to, or support Hot97 any more. He says that Jay Z encouraged him to write the letter.
I know this post is long, and could possibly have gone under the Aaliyah thread, but I just thought that this issue was too important to post under another thread.
Anyway, to anyone who heard the show, what was your response?
