If
Does anyone have those If books? The books with a whole bunch of questions in them? I think this would be a good thread, too. If no one has them, I have them at home, lol, and this thread will serve as my reminder to bring the books with me to work tomorrow so I can post some If questions.
Yes, CT4, lol, this is the cyber equivalent of one of my infamous notes! LOL!

You know, Soror, lol, I thought of this too, so I called myself and left myself a voicemail. I really need some ginkgo biloba or something. My short-term memory is shot.
LOL @ you starting fun controversy. You know you need to quit, lol.

Ok, I'm ready!
These questions are courtesy of If-2, Questions for the Game of Life and If-3, Questions for the Game of Love. The books are written by Evelyn McFarlane and James Saywell.
Here are a few to get us started...
1) If you had to name the worst song to wake up to in the morning, what would it be?
2) If you could control the lens of a satellite for one hour, so that you could watch any spot on earth, where would you point it?
3) If you could free yourself from one burden in your life, what would it be?
4) If you had to describe the best romantic gift you have ever received, what would it be, and from whom?
5) If you were to name the greatest regret of your romantic life, what would it be?
6) If you could teach your children one moral lesson about love, what would it be?
There are some, um, risque (sp?), questions in book 3, I've been embarrassed on more than one occasion from them, lol. But maybe I'll post some wild ones for yall, lol

BTW...
I just wanted to say, these books are AWESOME coffee table books. They are really good for little get-togethers, where everyone doesn't know each other, a great way to break the ice. Ok, I'm done... talk amongst yourselves, DISCUSS!

2) If you could control the lens of a satellite for one hour, so that you could watch any spot on earth, where would you point it? The hideout/cave of Bin Laden
3) If you could free yourself from one burden in your life, what would it be? Those So-called Friends - always asking for something without saying Thank-you!!
4) If you had to describe the best romantic gift you have ever received, what would it be, and from whom? A picnic in the park with my husband - we were dating at the time. We're both busy people even before we were married.
5) If you were to name the greatest regret of your romantic life, what would it be? hmm.......let me get back on this one - however, it seems to me there should be no regrets other than it should not stop!!
6) If you could teach your children one moral lesson about love, what would it be? Love - Unconditionally and have Love for those that don't love you!!

This is fun!!! Where's my prize????

This is fun...
1. That dayum song by Ray J and Lil Kim!
2. In the White House, I'd luv to how George Sr. is running thangs!
3. Dependency on the $, I wish that I was really comfortable. Not necessarily rich... Just where I didn't have to worry about how I'm going to pay the next bill.
4. A guy I used to date, would call me occasionally (?sp) in the morning and ask: Has anyone told you how beautiful you are today? Mannnn, that was mind blowin when I was feelin really low!
5. Can't say I have any regrets because I treat all of my past and PRESENT relationships as learning experiences. If I didn't experience them, I wouldn't have learned some very valuable chit!
6. I agree with giving the moral lesson of loving unconditionally. It's really a beautiful thing when you LEARN to do it. I'm not sure if it's something that can be taught!

2) If you could control the lens of a satellite for one hour, so that you could watch any spot on earth, where would you point it? As nosy as I am, I don't have an answer for this one.
3) If you could free yourself from one burden in your life, what would it be? All of my debt, especially my student loans.
4) If you had to describe the best romantic gift you have ever received, what would it be, and from whom? My ex bought me a Boyz II Men CD (Evolucion) that was in spanish. It took some thought, and I appreciated it!
5) If you were to name the greatest regret of your romantic life, what would it be? I would like to say I had no regrets, because everything is an experience, yadda yadda yadda, but if I had to name one... I would have waited to lose my virginity.
6) If you could teach your children one moral lesson about love, what would it be? I, too, would teach them to love unconditionally, even after having their heart broken.

1) Gentleness08 you took the words OUT of my mouth..I can't STAND Bootylicious! I must present this disclaimer: that is NOT a Houston thing!
2) Right now I would put it at my parent's home in H-twon. Get this, I am a senior and STILL homesick. I haven't been home since before school started, and I missing my peeps.
3) Debt and the general brokeness of being a student.
4)
5) Giving my all in a relationship, when I was the only one giving my all. But even that was a learning experience, and I am glad I learned that lesson young.
6) I would teach them the difference between Agape love and romantic love. Christ's love is eternal and THAT they can ALWAYS count on. As far as the romantic love, I would teach them to love with everything they have, but not to lose themselves in the process.
