Boxing Day in Canada is pretty much the number one shopping day of the year (just like the day after Thanksgiving in the US). Boxing Day, however, is traditionally a holiday. In the UK, way back when, it was the day that servants went home to visit their family (fellow Canucks, please correct me if I'm wrong!) and were given a small gift from their employers. I'm in Hong Kong right now, so I don't get to go shopping today

I'll be back in Toronto on Monday though, in time for New Years!!!!
