The "Top Ten Reasons I Love Black Women" in the AKA forum reminded me of this e-mail I received a few days ago. I am not sure how many Latinas we have here, or how many people could appreciate this, but I thought I would share. I love it!

Can put a LATINO and his non-LATINA date on pins and needles just by walking into the room.

Oh wow, I've gotten this email more times then I can rememeber and it was Only a Black Woman. But it does go for both ethnicity

Maybe this is only Latino men will put up with this, cuz I am anglo as the day is long and I've done this on many occasions to my Latin boyfriend!

This one is not so fun, especially 'cuz I don't get on pins and needles, I get bitchy and loud - not exactly "womanly" as my signature proclaims! But, it's not my Latina friends who do this to me, so I figure it doesn't matter much!
BTW, I've learned a lot from my Latina girlfriends!!!

(I received this some time after 9/11)
Top 10 Reasons why Latinos can't be Terrorists
1. 8:45 am is too early for us to be up.
2. We are always late; we would have missed all 4 flights.
3. Pretty people on the plane distract us.
4. We would talk loudly and bring attention to ourselves.
5. Food and drinks were on the plane.
6. We talk with our hands, we would have put our weapons down.
7. We would all want to fly the plane.
8. We would argue and start a fight in the plane.
9. We would have told everyone a week before doing it.
10. We would have put our country's flag on the windshield.

1. We would want the plane to be souped up and on 20 inch rims.
2. We would want our last name on the windshield(my family name is Garza. . .and i have it on my windshield in tiny decal letters).
