As of today, I may be again unemployed.
A couple of months ago, I took a part-time job where I was asked to commit for the school year. I was hesitant about committing, but they needed someone immediately, so I got the job "for the time being" until they could find a replacement for me. Since then, I have been told repeatedly, by several people, that if I was willing to commit, the job was mine.
Seeing as how the mortgage and student loan bills -don't- stop coming when you lose your job

I reluctantly decided, a couple of weeks ago, to make the commitment. I'm still looking for work in my field, though, and working on starting my own business.
I get along great with everyone there, except the head administrator.
Here's the problem. THE VERY DAY I spoke to the head administrator and offered her my commitment, she ran an ad for my job.

She even paid extra to make it a "featured listing". And when people call, instead of telling them the job is filled, she is bringing them in for interviews!
At the middle of each month, I sit down with her and set my hours for the upcoming month. Here's what's making me nervous: She has been avoiding meeting with me to set my hours for November. This is not what is known as a good sign.
