Angry "Get a job!"

OK, I just have to vent here...

Last night I was watching Crossfire. They quoted an email that someone had sent them, basically with the message that W should pay a little more attention to the economy instead of trying to distract us by pointing at Iraq. This individual had been laid off, couldn't find a job, and was worried about supporting himself and his family.

Bob Novak (the right-wing anchor) responded, "Get a job!"

As many of you know, I was laid off a few months ago. I have been totally unable to find a job in my field, despite excellent credentials, an aggressive job hunt, and a good network. I'm not out of work because I'm lazy; I'm out of work because no one is hiring because the economy is in the toilet and W is ignoring it. (After all, *his* job is secure for the next 2 years. Hopefully, not much beyond that.)

I'm suddenly proud to be a Democrat...
