Let me see how my memory is....
When I was young, they'd always say;
"Zeta's forever and a day."
Sometimes is seems like yesterday.
Then I climbed up the closet shelf,
When I was all by myself.
Took down the box and found my pin.
How I long to wear it again.
No matter, how hard I try,
No matter, how many years go by,
No matter, how many tears I cry.
I still can't say goodbye.
They always had some time for em.
We were just like a family.
And once again, it's meant to be.
Wind blows throught the trees,
My badge, it still shines bright.
Most things are the same,
But I miss my sisters tonight.
I saw her as I passed the campus store,
Wearing a jersey that I once wore.
She turned to me and gave a grin.
Felt like family again.
No matter how hard I try,
No matter, how many years go by,
No matter, how many tears I cry,
I still can't say goodbye.
I think that is all of the verses. This came out the same year that I was joining my alumnae group. It is still a favorite
