Amazon Instant Video is doing their pilot season again - uploading a variety of pilot episodes of television shows and choosing which ones go to series based on how well they are received by subscribers.
One of the pilots is based on a book I had never heard of before called The Man in the High Castle by Phillip K. Dick.
The show takes place in an alternate 1962 in which we lost World War II. They say the show is pretty different from the novel. Here are some articles about it:
