Rho Chi's, Pi Chi's, Ambassadors Reading Notebooks

I picked up a cute notebook for my dd to take notes during sorority recruitment. We talked about using a rating system and having a section for each group. When I went to an Advisers meeting a week ago the women cautioned me on not writing down notes in a notebook but using dd's phone. It became a big discussion in another group I am in and my thoughts are:

1. It is a total breach of trust for any one to be looking at notes that are written specifically for you.

2. Some recruitments don't allow you to have a phone.

My daughter and I have thought of devising a code that she could use. One word that would mean one thing to her but if someone else is looking at it the text wouldn't have any meaning to them.

Any thoughts on this?
