WILLIAMSBURG -- A College of William and Mary fraternity has been suspended for excessive drinking.

Sigma Pi is accused of violating student conduct codes, specifically, forcing new recruits to drink large quantities of alcohol. Within one month, this is the second fraternity to face sanctions. Phi Kappa Tau was recently suspended on hazing charges.

While on temporary suspension, the fraternities can't hold any functions unless approved by administrators. . . .”
