Baby Squirrel Pepper Sprayed by Police Officer in Front of Teenage Girls
http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2011/04/07/o...squite-school/
Police Brutality!
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati..._in_horro.html
I am not pleased by the ignorance displayed regarding rabies. The CDC has made it clear squirrels rarely transmit rabies to humans http://www.cdc.gov/rabies/pets/index.html
Oh look Texas has fox and skunk rabies, squirrels are no where on the map!
I suggest that he makes amends with a donation to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation of no less than $1904.
I can only imagine the singing to NWA from the tree tops!
Right about now AGD court is in full effect.
Judge Skiouros presiding in the case of AGD versus the Mesquite police department.
Prosecuting attorneys are Squirrel Nutkin and Rocky the Flying Squirrel.
Order order order. Texan Baby Squirrel take the tree stand.
Do you swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothin but the truth so help your bushy tail?
knight_shadow you're near the incident, if you want us to consider you over Senusret I avenge the insult upon us!

I saw this on the news. They claimed it was for the "safety of the students" in the area. I have never felt threatened by a squirrel. Also, folks in Mesquite should be able to handle more than a baby squirrel.
And please do choose me over Sen I in every situation. Every. Situation.

LOL.
Anyway, animals are not to be trusted. Do whatever you need to do in order to chill the bitch without kill the bitch. When I was little, my siblings swore up and down that a raccoon was chasing them home from school. I don't doubt it, rabies or not, animals are unpredictable.

LOL @ fish are attacking fishermen...payback's a bitch
And while we're talking about animals paying us back....
A lot of housing developments have been "attacked" by birds and other animal populations that have been living on this land forever. And then humans have the nerve to show up, tearing down their habitats and stuff. There's little that can be done because animals are really in charge even if home owners put things on their lawns to handle the deer. For example, leasing offices in some areas are prohibited from doing away with birds that create nests and do things like climb up vents. LOL. You wake up every morning to the sound of animals gnawing on your home and the animals are wondering why you're in their crib.
The animals are just doing their thing. Taser the bitches because they are uncontrollable and can't be trusted. LOL.

I'm really glad my parents and I moved from Mesquite.... but not until after my HS years.
With all the crap going on back there with the PD this doesn't surprise me, but it does surprise me that its made national news....

Exactly. I think this was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation because if that guy DIDN'T do anything and the squirrel did bite or scratch a student that same parent probably would have been bitching about them not properly protecting their kid on school property.

As many squirrels that are running around -- who is feeling unsafe around them? Sheesh.

It's all about what you're accustomed to. Not every area has tons of squirrels running around, some of them acting like they're about to beat a bitch.
This reminds me of something that happened when I was a kid. A group of friends were walking around the lawns and one noticed some baby squirrels playing in the tree. These squirrels were wild as hell, screaming and tumbling all over the tree. One of our friends was obsessed with these squirrels and kept saying "they look like they're about to fall on us." Everyone else was like "they are squirrels, they aren't even worried about us." Welllllllll, all we heard was tree branches crack and a plop. That darn squirrel fell on the one person who was so concerned about the squirrels falling. LOL. The kid screamed and we laughed. That'll teachya to mindyabidness.

LOL. True, but this is in Mesquite, a town that's less than 15 minutes from me. Squirrels are not rare anywhere in DFW.
