He lost his battle with cancer today at the young and tender age of 79.
If you all recall, his work with public school students was captured in "Stand and Deliver," which was kind of like the Hispanic version of "Lean On Me."
As a former Calculus teacher, I love the movie about Jaime. How many Calculus movies are there? It just shows what can be done when the talent is there.
