Jaime Escalante passed today

He lost his battle with cancer today at the young and tender age of 79. :(

If you all recall, his work with public school students was captured in "Stand and Deliver," which was kind of like the Hispanic version of "Lean On Me." :p

Rest in peace. :(

As a former Calculus teacher, I love the movie about Jaime. How many Calculus movies are there? It just shows what can be done when the talent is there.
