So, being new to college and Greek life I must say I was a bit overawed by how "all-out" some of the fraternities went during rush week. In particular, some of the events just struck me as going the whole nine yards and a few extra feet for good measure. Some of the ones I saw and heard of:
- SigEp took their PNMs to an NHL game and one of the more important horse races in the state this year.
- Last semester Sigma Alpha Mu rented out a recently-renovated nightclub for the night.
- The Pikes a few semesters ago (never got a solid date on this, may be just hearsay) rented a yacht and went deep-sea fishing.
- SigEp Fall '08 took their PNMs to a preseason NFL game.
Anyone else have experiences with GLOs going all-out in rush events, or do the ones on my campus just have a flair for the extravagant?
