Going "home" ...

This weekend my husband and I traveled back to College Station for the A&M vs. Baylor game. We went with a couple of my Alpha Phi sisters (Epsilon Omega deuteron chapter) and their husbands and dates.

(Wistful sigh...)

It was such a wonderful experience to be in College Station again. Seeing the old sites...The old buildings...The old parking lots where I got all my tickets (ha ha!). Anyway, I felt quite nostalgic (and still do).

I saw all those fresh young faces--new Aggies who have taken my place on campus--and felt a tinge of sadness. Or, perhaps, better stated, longing for the old days.

I love my life now. I love my husband and all we have accomplished so far, but I guess I feel it would just be so nice to have the chance to relive those carefree days for just a little while. To see the faces of old friends. To walk into the sorority house and watch "Days of Our Lives" with all my sisters, while talking about boys, classes, etc...

I was wondering if any of you all have gone back to your universities lately? How did you feel? Just curious...

I'd love to hear your stories and thoughts...
