nerves

hi everyone,

i was just wondering if any of you guys were nervous as an aspirant and what did you do to help bring everything back into focus so that you can present yourself as a strong candidate. i would love to join your extraordinary organization but i am worried that my nerves may come in the way of my true colors.

thanks!

Fixed that for you.

Do what you would do if you couldn't ask us what to do. Good luck.

Then you will learn like everyone else had/has to do.

Better yet, talk to people who know you in person. They will be able to give you advice that is specific to your personality. Good luck.

very good advice. gather information from your friends about your strengths and weaknesses, and work on your weaknesses all summer.

This advice should not be Delta-specific.

Just be yourself, don't be so nervous, everyone in any organization was in your shoes at one point. Be friendly and professional, do your research on the chapter and organization beforehand, and relax.
