USF
So far my college experience has been mostly about working and taking only a few classes each semester. This year I am looking to change that completely. In high school I was involved in as many clubs as possible and my gpa was a 3.8. So I have been looking at volunteer clubs and student government but I am most interested in rushing. I just would love to meet people and the philanthropy really appeals to me. I have a few problems though.
My gpa is not spectacular. It is actually pretty average.
I am currently classified a sophomore because I haven't taken very many classes since I started but I will be 21 in August and should technically be a senior.
Since I have spent my college career focused on work I haven't been involved in any other clubs on campus.
The only thing I feel like I have going is that I am friendly and outgoing. I am not shy and I love to meet new people. I am worried that is not enough.
I am not sure how competitve USF is and I am afraid that rushing might just be pointless. I keep reading that sororities won't take you if you are an upperclassmen or if you're gpa isn't high.
Does anyone go to USF or has rushed there and knows how competitive it is?
I would really appreciate any help.
