Ask your Membership VP or someone on the E-board. Every sorority is different; there may even be chapter differences. Better to go to the top and find out than go "awol" or end up in arrears financially, attendence, etc.
Just because I am nosy, do you "really" not have the time or money, or "kind of" don't want to spend your time and money on the sorority this semester? Remember that there may be consequences, such as dues owed, etc. before becoming a graduated alumna (or whatever the status is called). The bottom line is, do you lack the resources so much that you are willing to risk having to disaffiliate?
